Beautiful Basics: Modern Calligraphy for BeginnersWriting/CommunicationYou will learn the relaxing, creative art of modern calligraphy in this beginner-friendly class. We will explore the fundamentals of brush lettering, including basic strokes, letter formation, connections, and simple flourishes, before applying your new skills to a personalized final project. Participants may choose to create a custom name plate or door sign, a set of greeting cards, a mini framed quote or 5x7 print, a decorative initial or monogram, or a spring-themed design. Early sessions focus on brush pen control, writing the lowercase alphabet, and connecting letters, while the remaining sessions guide you step by step through completing your chosen project.
