Intermediate SewingSewing/Needle WorkTake your sewing skills to the next level in this hands-on class designed for participants who already know the basics of sewing. Students will build on foundational techniques while learning more advanced skills such as altering and repairing clothing, understanding and working with patterns, and improving overall sewing confidence and accuracy. Perfect for those ready to expand their skills and tackle more detailed sewing projects. Prerequisite: Sewing Basics class or prior sewing experience. Personal sewing machine preferred, but participants may borrow one from the instructor. If participants would like a specific design or pattern on the fabric used for projects, they must provide their own fabric. Fabric types and required lengths for each project will be discussed during the first night of class. Otherwise, fabric and supplies will be provided by the instructor.Fall/Winter 2026-27 -
Basic SewingSewing/Needle WorkLearn the basics of sewing using a sewing machine while creating fun projects such as a drawstring bag and pajama pants. Participants will practice essential beginner skills including threading a machine, sewing straight lines, following patterns, hemming, and basic hand stitching. These foundational techniques will build confidence and provide a strong starting point for future sewing projects. Personal sewing machine preferred, but participants may borrow one from the instructor. If participants would like a specific design or pattern on the fabric used for projects, they must provide their own fabric. Madagascar Jr.TheaterJoin Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, and all their friends on a wild adventure in Madagascar Jr., a fun junior theater production! Participants will experience the excitement of musical theater while developing acting, singing, movement, teamwork, and stage performance skills. Rehearsals will be held at The Cube in Bethany, with tech rehearsals and performances taking place at the Mustang Performing Arts Center. Rehearsals are scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Students should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle to each rehearsal.
