Tess will walk you through a variety of marvelous California rolls that will make you wonder why you have waited so long to try it. When it comes to actual sushi that is made with sushi grade raw fish, such as salmon or tuna wrapped in rice and seaweed, the sushi tolerance spectrum runs from a very strong yes or a very strong no - with little wiggle room in between. Experience California “Sushi” Rolls that overwhelmingly turn a no into a yes. California “Sushi” Roll combinations are only limited by your imagination. Make them vegetarian, with or without seaweed, spicy or not...it is totally up to you. Counselor-In-Training (CIT) (Summer)BC - Summer Camp - Counselor-In-TrainingThe Counselor-In-Training (CIT) is for young adults entering 8th and 9th grade in the Fall. Their duty is to assist our Bronco Club staff during summer camp. Responsibilities will consist of helping teachers prepare activities, mentoring kids through activities, cleaning up, and various other tasks throughout the day camp. Summer camp consists of uniquely themed weeks. Camp is held from 7:00am-6:00pm. CITs will receive a t-shirt and will attend fields trips for the given week. Camp tuition for the weeks assigned will be at no cost if accepted to the program. CITs will be assigned specific weeks to work, we ask if possible the CIT be available to work a couple days the first week of camp. On occasion, a CIT may be contacted to see if they are available to work if extra staff is needed for field trips, activities, etc. Application to this program is not a guarantee to be accepted to the program. Candidates are chosen based on application, references, academic standing, and availability. Notification of acceptance will be received on or before May 8, 2026. CIT DETAILS/REQUIREMENTS CITs applicants will participate in an interview with district coordinator CITs will be asked to work week 1 CITs will have required training meeting TBA. CITs must be available all 5 days for each week they are assigned. CITs should report to camp by 7:30 am and leave no earlier than 5:00 pm. CITs must give 48-hour notice if they are not able to fulfill their duties. CITs must have their own transportation to and from Bronco Club Camp *NOTE* Parents, CITs may be asked if available on days not initially scheduled. In this class, you will discover the answer as you participate in a fun-filled evening of cooking in the unique world of rolled & stuffed pizzas. On the menu: Stromboli (rolled/filled pizza), Calzones (stuffed pizza), wonderful Focaccia Bread, and an out of this world pizza sauce. Two different homemade doughs will be used. One will be for the pizza options, the other for the focaccia. Tess will provide step by step guidance and instruction to ensure the process is as simple as can be. Participants can personalize their pizzas with and focaccia bread with toppings and fillings of their choosing. All recipes have been created by the instructor and tested time and time again over the years to ensure maximum flavor and ease.
