Beautiful Basics: Modern Calligraphy for Beginners

You will learn the relaxing, creative art of modern calligraphy in this beginner-friendly class. We will explore the fundamentals of brush lettering, including basic strokes, letter formation, connections, and simple flourishes, before applying your new skills to a personalized final project. Participants may choose to create a custom name plate or door sign, a set of greeting cards, a mini framed quote or 5x7 print, a decorative initial or monogram, or a spring-themed design. Early sessions focus on brush pen control, writing the lowercase alphabet, and connecting letters, while the remaining sessions guide you step by step through completing your chosen project. 

All supplies, including a brush pen, workbook, practice sheets, and project materials, are provided.
