PEERS Social Skills Training

Making friends and navigating social situations can be challenging, but these are skills that can be learned and practiced. This class is designed for teens and young adults with special needs and/or social challenges who want to build confidence and strengthen social connections.

Participants will learn strategies for joining conversations, making and maintaining friendships, and becoming more comfortable in social settings. Each participant attends with a social coach, a trusted person who participates in class and helps reinforce skills between sessions. Through guided instruction and practice, participants will develop tools for greater confidence and success in everyday social interactions.
